I do not typically recommend the use of shock collars. Training is about learning what motivates your dog and using that as a reward. Using pain to teach a dog basic commands can lead to behavior problems in the future.
Shock collars, when use appropriately, can quickly correct negative behaviors but must always be followed up with rewarding correct behaviors.
Yes!
While the goal of my training is to teach you how to teach your dog, there are circumstances that require a professional touch. This program is designed to start the training/rehabilitation process for the dog during boarding and give you the knowledge of how to keep it going at home afterwards.
Yes! Your dog is most comfortable in its own territory and, therefore, may be more receptive to training. If your dog is territorial, there are ways to do a meet and greet prior to training sessions.
This will depend on the age of the puppy. I highly recommend doggy daycares for puppies that are old enough and have had their shots. For younger puppies, basic training classes and "puppy parties" with friends or neighbors is a great way to socialize puppies with people and other dogs.
